Los Angeles, (CelebrityAccess) – The Vans Warped Tour, presented by Journey, announces the lineups for its bi-coastal 25th Anniversary events set for later this year.
The touring festival will hit three markets in 2019: Cleveland, Ohio, Atlantic City, New Jersey and Mountain View, California and will serve as a capstone for the venerable festival.
Festival founder Kevin Lyman announced that last year was the final full year for the touring festival, but surprised many by reviving the brand for the 25th-anniversary run.
“Through the years the Vans Warped tour has always tried to bring you something extra, this year we have gone through the past archives and dug up many of our old friends to join us for these special events.” says producer Kevin Lyman. “The curated art experience will showcase our favorite moments over the last 25 years. So, dust off the old Vans and lace em’ up since you won’t want to miss a thing!”
“The Vans Warped Tour holds a very special place in our hearts and in our history,” added Steve Van Doren, vice president of global events and promotions at Vans. “It was through the annual tour that we were able to bring music and action sports to youth across the globe for over two decades. We are really excited to partner with Kevin and the Warped team to put on a once in a lifetime experience to celebrate the tour’s final year.”
The lineup for the fest features fan favorites like Bad Religion, Circa Survive, Frank Iero, Less Than Jake, Save Ferris, Simple Plan, Sleeping With Sirens, The Offspring, The Starting Line, Thrice, We The Kings. Each event will also feature unique additions to the bill.
For the Clevelend show, the festival is partnering with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for an exhibit to mark the history of the festival alongside acts such as Hawthorne Heights, Emery, Chali 2na & Cut Chemist.
The Atlantic City lineup features bands like A Day To Remember, BowlingFor Soup, Glassjaw, Reel Big Fish, and hometown heroes Taking Back Sunday, and Valencia.
The All-American Rejects, Dance Gavin Dance, NOFX, Sum 41, and The Story So Far have all been announced for the show in Mountain View.
