Original post, 9/21: Fans rooting for longtime couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes to finally get married can chill—they already are. The pair secretly wed earlier this year after five years of dating, Us Weekly reports. They had a low-key ceremony with small group of close family and friends.
"Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple. They are infatuated with each other," a source close to the couple told Us.
Gosling, 35, and Mendes, 42, started dating in 2011 while filming The Place Beyond the Pines, which they both starred in. They have two daughters together: Amada, 4 months, and Esmeralda, 2. Though the private parents have kept their children fairly out of the limelight, that won't stop Gosling from gushing about them and his family.
"I'm a lucky man. We couldn't be happier. They are so sweet," he said of his girls.
